ANNUAL MEETING OF WAIRARAPA BRANCH.
•The annual general meeting of the Wairarapa bramch of the Wellington District Institute of Teachers was held in the Technical School, Maaterton, at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday last, there being a fair attendance of members. The following officers were elected: President, Mr F. L. Combs; vice-presidents, Miss G. Raggett and Mr A. N. Burns; secretary and treasurer, Mr Leslie; committee, Miss Marryatt and Messrs Brockett, Barnett/Foes and Jones. The proposed sewing syllabus was further discussed, and the "meeting passed several resolutions, suggesting alterations. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the retiring officers.
