HOCKEY.
MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.
A meeting of, the Management Committee of the Wairarapa Hockey Association was held last evening, Mr J. L. Hughes occupying the chair.
Permission was granted to the P. and T. Hockey Club to play a game with the Palmerston Post Office on June 28th. The Nelson Association wrote, agreeing, to play Waiararapa on July 17th for the Nordon Oup.—lt . was decided to play the game at Carterton.
Tlie - Dannevirke sub-association wrote, asking for a date, on which to' play Wairarapa.—lt was decided to reply that nothing had been arranged at present, owing to arrangements for the Nordon Cup matches not .being definitely fixed. It was agreed that an endeavour be made to send a team to .Nelson this season.
Accounts for £3 10s were passed :or payment.
The Mrjsterton P. and T. Hockey Club will journey to Palmerston North by the first train on Saturday morning and play the inter-office match with Palmerston North P. and T. Club. Mr Hamlin, chief clerk, will go in the capacity of manager. The following will represent Masterton: — Burrows, Hanley, Clarke, Diggins, Eddy, Devonport, Eichards, Miller, Jackson, Naylor, Williams (capt.).
