Advanced Labourites bittejrly resent the actioa of the National Executive in vetoing Mr Banton's candidature for the Leicester seat.

The Socialists have adopted Mr Harley as their Candidate. [A few days since it was reported that there were three candidates for the. Leicester seat, rendered vacant by the resignation of Mr E. Oraw-shay-Williams (Liberal) owing to hi* being cited as co-respondent in. the divorce case brought by Mr Herbert Carr-Gomm (Liberal member foi Southwark. The. candidates, are stated to be Messrs Stewart (Liberal), A. M. Wilshcre (Unionist), and Banton.]
