LONDON, June 9. The estate of the late Sir Richard who carried out surveys of the towns of Wangamii and 'Dunedin, hag been valued at £336,278. The deceased had been blind for the last four years of his life. Ho donated •£36,000 to various institutions for the blind, including £12,000 for an opthalmio hospital.
