EPSOM DERBY INCIDENT.
MISS DAYISQN IN CUSTODY

The police, have notified the Epsom Hospital authorities that Miss Davison, the Suffragette, 'who.-was seriously injured through interfering with the King's horse Anmer during the race for the Epsom Derby, must be considered to be in custody.

Suffragettes'are suspected of placing broken bottles on the track at the auto-cycle race s at the Isle of Man. Miss Davison passed a restless night, and is unconscious. Her condition is considered to be very grave.

Queen Alexandra has withdrawn from the Royal Academy Fildes's portrait of King Edward. This is attributed to a fear that Suffragettes might da-nage it.
