BENEFIT CONCERT.
The committee wfiich is organising benefit for Mr Pryor Gilbert ' met on Wednesday night in the Fire Brigade Station, when final arrangements were made for the Town Hall Picture Benefit. The date was definitely arranged for June 13th, and it was decided to get the tickets in circulation at once. The prices of admission v,eve fixed at Is b'd for dress circle and Is for the rest of the hall,. In connection with th? benefit it was decided to run an art union and to awai'd three handsome oil paintings as first, second and third prizes" respectively. Everyone buying a ticket for the pictures will participate in the art union, but this concession will not apply to tickets sold at the door on the night of the entertainment. The books of tickets will be called in on the night previous, .so as to enable the "draw ' of the art union to take plabe on the night of the pictures. .
