CHURCH SERVICES.
To-morrow's services in connection with St. Matthew's Church are advertised on the front page. Holy Communion will be celebrated at the Church of the Epiphany at 11 a.m., and evening prayers at 7 o'clock. At St. Alban's, Taueru, there will be a service at 3 o'clock and also at Bideford. To-morrow will lie observed as Empire Sunday at Knox Presbyterian Church. Services will be conducted by the Rev. A. T. Thompson, 8.A., 8.D., morning and evening. The Men's Society will meet at 10.15 There will be Sunday service at Kaituna in the afternoon. Presbyterian services will be conducted by the Rev. J. G. D-avies tomorrow at Kopuaranga in the morning at .Wangaehu in the afternoon, and at Lansdowne in the evening. Anniversary services will be held at the Methodist Church, Masterton, morning and evening. There will be special singing by tiie choir, and the preacher will be the Rev Jno. Dawson, of Wellington, secretary New Zealand Alliance. The Rev. J. Dawson will conduct services at Rangitumau in the afternoon. The Rev. S. J. Serpell will conduct services at Kuripuni, morning and evening. On Monday evening an anniversary social will be held in the Sunday school. .At the Baptist Church, Murray's Hall, Queen Street, to-morrow, Pastor E. Swinerd conducts both services. Subjects: Morning, Col. 1,4) and 12; evening, "A Night in Egypt." A hearty invitation is given to all.
At the Congregational Church, Chapel Street, to-oiorrovr*, the Rev. B. L. Thomas will conduct the services. In the forenoon the subject of discourse will be "Unspoken De-' sires," and in the evening, "The Higher Conscience." Free seats, hymns and a welcome are extended to ail.
