VALUABLE BEQUEST.
PRESERVATION OF CHILD LIFE
(By Telegraph. — Press Association.) WANGANUI, Last Night. The late Mr J. T. Stewart has left his house and grounds at Wanganui, valued at £3OOO, far the purposes of the Plunket Nurses' and Children's Home, subject to his wife's Kfe interest. In making this bequest. Mr Stewart says:—"l regard the sa.ving and well-being of children in their early years, under five years of age, as one of the important problems of the age, and I leave and bequeath this property for the use and advancement of such purposes."
