THE "HIGH SCHOOL PARTY."

The party formed by Mr H. C. Robinson, which has arrogatsd to itself the title of the "High School Party," and has -set out to revolutionise thv Masterton Trust Lands Trust, commenced its electioneering campaign at Lansdowne last night. Mr Robinson, with his native 'modesty, kept himself well in the background. He did not even act as prompter to his "party." Nothing wag said to enable any person to form an intelligent opinion on either the aims or the aspirations of this "High School Party." This has been the fault all through the" pieoe. Mr Hobinson presumes to know what he wants, and what the town wants. But he always forgets, or omits to state what it really w that he does want. When he says it is a "High School," whatever that may mean, he omits to tell us how he proposes to get the money to erect and maintain such an institution. Mr Hobinson is on a "wild goose chase," and he knows it, or ought to I know it. He is putting the Trust Lands Trust to quite a lot of unnecessary expense in the holding of an extraordinary election. As we stated in a previous article, the High School question has absolutely nothing to do with the coming election of Trustees, for if Mr [Robinson and his party were reurned they could do practically nothing to achieve their purpose.
