TAXI HERENrKAU STACK SALE
Messrs James Mcintosh and Co. repuiit having held their usual monthly sate in* their" Taub.n'-entkaw sale yards on Friday, 9tih May, when they offered a moderate 'yarding only, owing, no doubt-, to the very bad weather experienced during the last week. There was a good attendance of buyers, but business at auction was Slow. We sold practically the u-hob yarding during the afternoon. Prices realised were as . follows A- bred fat wethers 14s, small lambs Bs, forward ewes 9s 6d to 1 10$, fat cows £5, store cows £1 19s to £2 lis, 20-month ste?rs £3 17s 6d. yearling steers 27s 6d to 355, weaner steers and lieifors 80s 6d.
