PAL-MERSTON N., Thursday.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Lid., report: At our Palmerston North sale on Thursday, 18th May, we had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle, which met with a good demand. We quote: Forward wethers 16s 3d, wethers 13s 6d to 13s 9d, mixed lambs 9s, cull lambs 5s 9d to 5s lid, 3 and 4-yr bullocks £6 10s, 2-yr steers £3 6s, forward cows £3 7s 6d to £4 Is, fat cows £5 to £5 6s, store "cows 22s to £2 10s, weaners 255, heifera in calf £4.
