DANNEVIRKE NATIVES LEAVE FOR SALT LAKE CITY.
'By Telegraph, —k'ress Association.) DANNEVIRKE, Last Night. Six prominent Maoris from Tahoraite, left Dannevirke to-day for Axickland, en route for Salt Lake City. Although the departing Natives have expressed their intention of only making a flying trip to the Mormon stronghold," some of their friends are doubtful if they will return to New Zealand. It is reported that each of the tourists have taken £SOO, and have.leased their lands for six months.
