EULOGISTIC REFERENCES. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock;) SYDNEY, May 5. It is estimated that i 50,000 persons viewed the Cadet parade. The 600 Naval Cadets, who headed the parade, were much admired for their fine discipline and marching. Lord Denman, uie Defence heads, and the public generally sp.'-ak in eulogistic terms of the excellent spirit and soldierly bearing -of the Cadets. The press urges the value and inspiration the march and display of! patriotism by Australia's young Army ivill have on older populations. The only drawback was the keeping the crowds in check; their enthusiasm caused frequent invasions of the line of march.
