SENDS WIRELESS MESS ACES. BUT WITHOUT SUCCESS. (Received April 30, 9.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 30. Dr Mawson has for several days been trying to send a wireless message, to Australia, but, owing to eomo unknown cause the messages have been undecipherable. Professor David presumes that a blizzard has caused an accident to the wireless mast. He believes the party will bo safe for the rest of the winter, but that the refitting of the Aurora should be pushed on as speedily as possible, eo that she may leave as early as it is thought practicable to get through the ice.
