FIRES.
£SOOO DAMAGE. (Received Last Night, 8.45 o'clock.) SYDNEY, April 29. A fire occurred in the premises of the Buttonhole and Fancy Costume Company, causing damage amounting to £SOOO. The outbreak spread to other buildings, causing much damage.

''Received Last Night,_o.o o'clock.') ADELAIDE, April 29. The National Incandescent Mantle Company's premises were gutted by fire, the loss being estimated at £IOOO. TII3 brigade' prevented the .spreading of the fire to the Empire Theatre, Hljoining.
