CELEBRATED IN SYDNEY

(Keoeive<l Last Night, 11.25 o'clock.) SYDNEY, April 23. The birthday of the poet Shakespeare was celebrated in State schools to-day, leading actors and teachers giving short addresses explanatory of his life and works. A number of entertainments and picture show displays were held, the proceeds of which will be devoted to the proposed Sli&kespearian memorial.
