(Received April 15, 11 a.m.) ATHENS, April 14. An engagement between Greek and 1 urkish. destroyers has been reported. Tlie fight took pla-ce at tlie entrance to the Dardanelles. Both .sides claim a victory.
MONTENEGRO DETERMINED. TO PERSIST Jjn STRUGGLE. (Received Last* Night, 11.45 o'clock.) OETTINJE April 15. It is officially stated that Montenegro "will persist in the struggle, and will yield only to "force majeure."
PROPOSAL ADVANCED. BY RUSSIA AND ITALY. COMPENSATION FOR MONTENEGRO. (Received Last Night, 11.45 o'clock.) VIENNA, April 15. Russia and Italy have initiated a proposal to advance Montenegro 30,000,000 francs, as compensation for the loss of Scutari.
