AMUSEMENTS.
TOWN HALL PICTURES. Another good audience whs present to-witness the final .showing of the current- programme presented by the Masterton Picture and Entertainment Company at the Town Hall last evening. The Asta Xeilsen photo-play, "A Girl Without a Country," was again well received, and showed that the picture-loving people of Masterton appreciate the efforts ol this new company to put on only the highestclass of films procurable in the .Dominion. The l:rst change of pio gramme \\i 11 lie presented this evening, and "will comprise a rare collectimi of the la.te.>t productions of the lead'.ng film-makers throughout the world" The programme is headed by the lioyal Film Company's latest nias-t-erniece in the miitary drama. ''Episode of Waterloo." a film that is at present bc'.ng shown in Wellington to packed house,-, and adjudged by the Wellington press to be the highest attainment in the art ol cinematography. A most laughable co.mcd,\ «il| also lie presented, entitled "She Wanted a Hoarder," which should be ■well worth witnessing. The whole of the remaining item* will be of a high standard of merit. The Masterton Symphony Orchestra will /ilso render an entire change of music.
