M . rc-.^Oict.pav-ing held their weekly sale in the PJT.A.'yards on Tuesday, when they offeivd a fair yarding of sheep and a small entry of cattle to a fair attendance of farmers and buyers. Sheep showed a slight improvement on previous yales. Cattle met a dragging sale throughout. However, we have to report a total clearance at the following rate®: Sheep—Mixed aged eweß 7s 6d, 8s 8d to 9s 6d, fat ewes lis 6d, mixed lambs os lid to Bs.6d. Cattle Fat cows £4 15s to £5, forward cows £2 to £3 5-s, store cows £1 10s to £2 ss, aged cows 20s, weaner j steers 25s to £1 14s 6d, weaner heifers 26s to ;£1 14-s, bulls £1 18a to I£2 ss. '
