' ST - Matthew-s club. T!a6 annual meeting of St .Mat-;, chi-w's IHockey Club wasi, held ;la*st. evening, when there was a largo attendance of members. Mr R. Hatch occupied the chair. The secretary read the annual report and balance-sheet-, which was duly carried. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £5 17s Id. The .following officers were elected: President, "Rev. Watson ; patron, Mr A. P. Whatman; vice-presidents, Messrs W. H. Beetham, H. T. Hume, H. Morrison, W. B. Chennells, G. W. iSellar. secretary and treasurer, C. Cole (re-elected); captain of senior team, A. Dixon ; management committee, Messrs C. Cole, A. Dixon, R. Hatch, W. Hornblow, J. Winchester. It -was decided ta ent?r a senior and junior team. A practice will be held on lhursday.
