MR LLOYD GEORGE'S INVESTMENT. (Received April 1, 10 a.m.) LONDON, March 31. Before the Parliamentary Committee inquiring regarding the contract between the Marconi Wireless Telegraphy Company, Ltd., and the British Post Office, Mr Lloyd George, Chancellor of the Exchequer, gave evidence that he bought shares as an investment. Not having much cash he avoided speculations. In reply to a question why. if he bought shares as an investment he sold the bulk within three days of purchase, he said he had acted on his brokers' advice, and that he did not think the transaction any less an investment because he had done so. Three male -suffragists were ejected for interjecting remarks regarding the Chancellor's treatment of women. LLOYD GEORGE INDIGINANT. A DENIAL BY MR HERBERT SAMUEL. (Received This Morning, 12.20 o'clock.) LONDON," April 1. The Right Hon D. Lloyd George, in a dramatic speech, challenged any member of the House of Commons to formulate their charges.
