POLO TOURNAMENT.
SAVIiLLE CUP WON BY GIS- ' BOKNE. {By Telegraph—Press Association.) PAiiMERSTON K, Last Mght. At the New Zealand Polo Tourney the final of the Sayille 'Ctfp'was played to-day between Mangaheia (Gisborne) and Te Awaimitu. The ground was in excellent condition, and the weather delightful. The attendance was large and fashionable. Mamgaheia* had no difficulty in beating their less experienced rivals, indeed, a I more exciting finish would have been between the winners and Hawke's Bay, who succumbed by a very small margin early in tiie contest. Mangaheia beat Te Awamutu at all points of the game. Their riding was better, hitting far superior, and combination .in a higher class from the start. Gisbome piled up the goals and at the finish won "by 10 goals to nil. Sherrett scored 4 goals, Reynold 4 amd J. R. Murphy 2, The winners were presented with the Saville Cup by Mrs R. S. Abraham, wife pif the vice-president. '' f In the Handicap tourney Hawke s Bay beat Harwa.rdeii B, and Rangitikei beat Harwarden A.
