AUCKLAND EXHIBITION.
It as very much to lie regretted tluit> the delegates ofthe two Wairaraf>a A. and P. should have decided to abandon tlie proposal to .arrange a district exhibit for the fTGxbibition,. We»iii-e , aware that of. ivreparirig .such in exhibit would be very considerable, bait Nve Ji are yet to loam that the Wairarapa; is less .able-to bear, the expense than Taranaki and South Canterbury- We should have very much preferred that the delegates had consulted the local bodies and large business concerns of tlhe district before arriving at a poneluisiort. We cannot, agree that stock-breeding is the only interest to I>e considered in
the Wairarapa. Wo have dairv duce, root crops, fruit,- fihro, homy, cereals, and a dozen and one other products, . The ..delegates p.-'ssibiy thought that the whole of might bo represented at tlie Auckland exhibition A. and P. Show. No doubt they could. But, from mi vertising \ point of view, a sh<>w i-s nothing to bo oomp&red with .m oxihibition.
