Onumi, and in an interview stated that Australia's drawback AA'as lack of population. "Hoav," lie said, "do you propose to populate your vast territory if you insist on race restriction." Ivwie Ohih does not agree that the decay of the Australian aboriginals is due to contact with the whites, but considers it is caused by- the philisophical idea of isolation a,nd the absence of intercoiirse with other nations. Kwei Chih added : "Ghina was degertgrating, until she opened ner door,s fifty years ago. Australia is premature in restricting free immigration.
