This'was refused, but lie was assured that lie could visit the ship, and would be. afforded every facility in connection with the inquiry. His evidence will be takeiin to-morrow evening. Mr •Campbell, late second officer of the Amokura, arrives from the north to-morrow,, and. will be examined. The Inquiry is unlikely to conclude before the end of the week.
