ALLEGED MALTREATMENT OF . BOYS. (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) W ISLINGTON, Last Night. J. (I. Hart, the publication of whose letter in a Hamilton paper, re,sill tod in an inquiry being made into tlie alleged maltreatment of the boys on the Government- training .'.■ hip Amokura, was interviewed by the Minister of Marine to-day, and asked for the assistance of counsel. This'was refused, but lie was assured that lie could visit the ship, and would be. afforded every facility in connection with the inquiry. His evidence will be takeiin to-morrow evening. Mr •Campbell, late second officer of the Amokura, arrives from the north to-morrow,, and. will be examined. The Inquiry is unlikely to conclude before the end of the week.
