A DOMINION - SHOW.
T!ie Auckland A. and P. Association proposes holding a Dominion agricultural and pastoral show during the currency of the Auckland Exhibition. Such n show would of necessity be a considerable attraction to the public; but whether it could be regarded! as of national importance is quite another question. Our own opinion is that Southern exhibitors would, not take the risk of sending their prize stud stock to Auckland, where the climatic and other conditions are so dissimilar,, and where there is practically no demand for the breeds that are popular in the south. The Auckland ers are entitled to do their best to advcr+isc their distract and to boost their resources. But they must not expect that the sun will always be shining, and that their anticipations will always be realised:
