DR FRIEDMANN' S DISCOVERY. SCIENTIST REFUSES HUGE MONETARY OFFER. (Received March 6, 11.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, March 5. The State of Connecticut has oifered Dr Friedmann £2OO,(XX) if his cure for consumption is effective. A New York banker has offered another £200,000 if Dr Freidmann is able to save the life of his son-in-law, who is a consumptive. SYDNEY, March 6. The State Government sought to obtain a trial sample of Dr Friedmann's new consumption cure. Dr Friedmann has replied that it is not for sale. Patients are only treated under 'his pereonal direction at his Berlin institiito.
