IX CANADIAN PARLIAMENT
(Received Last Nisiht, 9.30 o'clock.': OTTAWA, March 5. Mr Sairiff argued in the course of the navy debate in the House of Representatives that it was unbecoming for Canada to hire Englishmen to fight on Dominion ships. Government speakers retorted that the Laurier fleet was too poor to fight and too slow to run away, while no Canadians could he found to man it.
