ELECTRIC TRAMS.
FOR XEW PLYMOUTH,
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. A poll was taken to-day on proposals to borrow £55,000 for overhead electric trams, and £42,000 for street and water extensions. Both were carried by overwhelming majorities. For the tramways the figures were: 958 for and 187 against; for street and water extension, 961 for and 202 against.
