King 25, An alarm of fire was sounded on the firebell on Sunday afternoon, the cause being an outbreak of fire in the residence of Mrs Price, Belvedere Iload, The brigade's services were, however, not required, as the outbreak had been subdued by a willing bucket brigade. It appears that a match had been used in the front room and thrown dow-n. Half an hour later the curtains, blind and wall paper was in flamos. The alarm was at once given, an<l a bucket brigade successfully coped with the outbreak. Beyond the curtains, window, and wall paper no damage was done.
