THIRTY THOUSAND
AMBITIOUS NAPIER, (By Telegxaph- —Press Association.) NAPIER, -Last Night. The "Thirty Thousand Club," formed recently with the object of improving the appearance of Napier and advertising the attractions of the town and district, held a very successful garden fete to-day in Nelson Park. The attendance was estimated at pbout ©ix thousand. The exact financial result is not yet known, but it is certain it will be over £3OO.
