THE Y.M.C.A
The visit to Masterton of the organising'.secretary of the Y.M.C.A. is pait of a (general scheme for the consolidation of the work of the institution throughout the Dominion. Mr Jamieson strikes one as a shrewd, |'levelheaded young man who, having a mission, knows how to ma,ko it niecßi-s----ful. Hi? lias a hard row to hoe in Masterton, but, if enthusiasm and determination count, for anything, ho
will cause a shaking among, the dry bones. The Y.M.C.A. lias somewhat I'osemblcd an overgrown boy n New Zealand. It reached manhood :-iatiue before it had passed through the fledgling period. When its work is consolidated. however, and placed upon a thorough business footing, it wll doubtless accomplish a very useful purpose in the community.
