HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

A few days .hack it was our privilege to congratulate the Masterton A. and P. Association upon having a record show. It is with equal pleasure that we congratulate the Horticultural Society upon the - magnificent exhibition made in the Town Hall and Prill Hall yesterday. The people of this district may not be ardent devotees of art, as it is seen in the academy. It cannot be said of them, however, that they are lacking in appreciation of the products of nature. Tho exhibition of fruit, vegetables and flowers that was made yesterday spoke eloquently of the congenial climate, a.s it (iid the fertility of the district, and it was a. tribute to the enthusiasm cur citizens in matters horticultural. The officers of the Society are ds-serv-ing of the utmost credit for the splendid display that »was made. ,
