Ma'ny University authorities welcc.me Cambridge's proposal, to make the passing of Degrees dependable upon the student undergoing a course of military training. Others object to the proposal, on the ground that it will confer certain privileges on these undergoing military training. PRESS OPPOSITION. (Received Last Night, 10.50 o'clock.) LONDON, February 21. The Daily Mail states that if the University, authorised by tho State, declared that/ no man could have knowledge unless lie became a soldier, it would be blackmail and treason again.st science.
