On page Bof this morning's Usu c ol the Wairarapa Ago Messrs !)alget\ and Co., Ltd., advertise particulars of threo important Lower Valley clearing -sales, to be held by them next month.
The first will take plar.- on March 4th, o;H account of Mr Thomas Greenaway, at the homestead, Dry Itiver Settlement, Martinborough. Mr Groenaway, having sold his property, is offering all his live and dead stock for sale. In addition to 100 ewes and lambs there is a splendid herd of 26 dairy cows, calves and hulls, and draught and -harness horses. The farm implements are of the best, and include 2 traction engines, 2 chaffcutters, 2 waggons and threshing combine and all up-to-date farm implements. Exceptionally easy terms are advertised.
At the homestead, Tvahautara, Lower Valley, on March 13th, Messrs DalgKy and Co. will submit, on account of Mr A. Hannay, who has lately sold bis property, 1500 sheep (assorted), 103 cattle and 14 horses. Also implements, harness and sundries, all in first-class order. Ibe auctioneers with confidence recommend the stock to bo offered, and every line submitted will be for absolute sale. Luncheon will be provided. The next sale will take place on March 18th at Mr A. FT. Brentnall's stables, Martinborough. Mr Tirentnall is giving up contracting, and has instructed Messrs Dalgetv and Co. tr auction his horses and plant, comprising 15 good heavy draught horses, drags, waggons, harness, tarpaulins, and sundries. Buyers can rely on getting staunch and sound horses at t sale, right out of hard work.
