' The first day of the Wanganui ram fair was held at Freeman R. J. Jackson and Co.',s yards to-day, when Lincoln and Southdown rams were < Acred. The highest price for Lincoln studs was 51 guineas, for a rtfm nf Mr W. H. Wybourne's, while flock Tarns were only in moderate demand, making 1} to 9 guineas. Southdowns were in good demand, at from 3 to 6 guineas. The sale continues tomorrow.
