Lvs, proprietor of the Makun Hotel, died suddenly at Makuri on Wednesday afternoon. Mr Henry Mitchell, who arrived in Wellington seventy-two years ago, died shortly after 7 o'clock on Wednesday night at the residence ot his nephew (Mr Frederick Mitchell) in Abel Smith Street, aged eighty. 1-he deceased was born in Yorkshire, and came out to Wellington with Ins parents (the late Mr and Mrs John Mitchell) and his brothers, also since dead, in the ship Gertrude in 1841.
