SHORTER HOURS AND MORE WAGES. (Received This Morning, 12.35 o'clock.) LONDON, February 18. Ten thousand London bakers are demanding a fifty-four hour week, 30s in the shops, and 32s m the hictoi it. . The masters will concede to these demands if each man bakes ten sacks weekly. . . . The men reply that this is impossible.
