A mysterious tragedy has occurred at Carlton-, a .suburb of this Vity, where a woman was. found dead in the street, and near her a man with his throat badly cut. A rpzor was found alongside the man. On the woman was a handbag with a bank book in the name of Alice Hunson. The man has been identified as James Rawlings, a labourer, and the woman as Alice Hudson, residing at Carlton. Rawlings has a_chance of recovering. .
