INTERNATIONAL PICTURES. "TWO DAUGHTERS OF EVE." A largo audience witnessed tlio change of programme at t.he Town Hall last wening. lb seems as though the Town Hall management) by securing the pick of the world's best production, and the variety of dramatic, comic, topical and seomo numbers makes the programmes oi varied nature which is essential to the success of an evening's picture entertainment. The A.li. Company are never far behind in the competition race, and their production-—"Two Daughters of Eve"—quite justifies their 3 reputation. "How She Conquered" is another very hue film. It is produced by the Cinos Company. "The Midnight Ghost" is a thrilling drama, full of .sensation. Then we have "The Strange Story of Elsie .Mason" (Kalein's Western drama) and "The Picture Writer," the latest Yitagraph liit. The popular Gaumont Graphic, and Williams' Weekly occupy places in the bill, and the snaps are very interesting. The two scenics are good, •showing views of Segovia, and Life i» Aden Campo. Lastly the bill is well supported in comedies. "Diddled," "Dupin Hat-pin Scare," "A Lively Dispute" and "How Mr Darling Won £400." There will be several extra pictures screened to-night.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. HOLIDAY FEATURES. Last night saw another large audience at the T.P. Electric Theatre, when the current programme was screened for the second time. "The Veiled Prophet," one of the long exclusive dramas, is a fine conception of tlio poem by Thomas Moore, and (jives a fine insight of Eastern life. "Nellie the Lion-innier," also a long exclusive feature, is a fine presentation of circus life, and is interwoven with a fine love, story. Some .sensational lion acts' lend thrilling realism to this picture. "The Peril cf the Cliffs" is a fine study by the Kalem Company. "The Players," a Lubin production, features' Miss Oimi TTawloy and is a splendid «tory of the loves of actors and actresses off the stage. "The Girl in the Caboose" is a rather unusual type of railroad drama with very humorous situations. "Winning a Widow" is a very amusing film of a voung man's endeavours to make a pretty widow a victim of his smiles. Numerous suimorting features ;n----cludo Trieste Harbour. "His Last Adventure." "Dupin's Picnic," and the latest Gaumont Graphic. This programme will be repeated to-night for the last time. A special holiday change will he shown on Wednesday.
