| INTERNATIONAL PICTURES GRAND PROGRAMME. | '-Tho Burglar's Dilemma," an A.B. exclusive drama, which purports to give a representation of the seamy side of "The Third Degree"—the NewYork police process —is the premier picture on tho new programme to be presented to-night at the Town Hall. The plot, which is very capably acted throughout, tells a. story cf tho serious trouble which a man brought about by his jealousy, ihe Sclig Company supplies a capital do- ' uiest'.c drama, entitled The Liand , Blotter." The story told by tho picture is as follows: Jim "Wandless, the owner of a few hundred head 1 of cattle, and Dulcie Brent, the daughter of a rich cattle baron, are in I love with each other. Mom bray, the foreman of Brent's ranch, is also in I love with. Dulcie, but she does not |care lor him. Jim asks Brent for i his daughter's hand, hut ho is exceedingly jealous of his daughter, so ho tells Jim that ho can marry Dulcie when his herd! of cattle matches Duleio's, head for head. The young peoare forced tc accept this mandate. Later, however, Dulcie see-s how she can hurry matters somewhat, and begins to put her ' plan into operation. Her cattle outnumber Jim's three to one. Her brand is a well-known one. She realises how easy it would be to change this brand to Jim s hiand. She rides out to her herd, ropes and ties one of tho steers, and is in the act of changing the brand when J;m rides in and sees what she is doing. Dulcio rides away, leaving Jim bending over the prostrate steer. Brent and Mowbray ride on. and see Jim in the act of releasing the steer. They notice the changed brand, and at once jump to the conclusion that Jim is a brand-blotter. "Juan and Juanita is an exciting railway drama hy the Luibin Company. Juan and Juanita are sweethearts, but the girl's mother had her eye to money. Tony, a fireman on the railway gets dischaiged for knifing Tom Dar'by, engineer, and Juan gets the job. It does not last long, for orders are given for the dismissal of all Mexicans on the road. Ono day, looking for work, he finds the station agent -on the platform badly iwoundod, and 1 isee-s the! drill engine vanishing in the distance. Tony has 'Stolen a gold consignment, and at the point of the revolver compels Darby to run the engine off with the load. A number of exciting scenes follow, and- the (final presents Juan an accomplished victor. Other fine dramas are "Adopted'' (bv Lubin) and "Dr Brian Pel lie and the Secret Despatch" (by Clarendon). A number of other fine supporting, features include "Funnicus as Porter," "The Dolomite," "Back at Three," "South Wales" and "Mr Stout Goes Out to Dine."
