BIBLE IN SCHOOLS
DE'MONST R A lON IN WELLINGTON. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. A demonstration, by supporters or the .Bible in State Schools League, was held in the Town Hall to-night. There was a crowded audience, ov'er which. Mr J. (>■ Watkins presided. Addresses were delivered by Rev. H. Youngmah, D.D., of the\Methodist Church of Australasia, _ and vice-president and the surviving founder of the Queensland Bible in State Schools League, Rev. Canon Garland (organising secretary of the Bible in State Schools League), Commissioner Richards, j&alvaStion Army, and Messrs Gilbert, Carson, (Baptist Church, Wanganui),• and W. D. Little (Church, of Christ).. Hie meeting was an enthusiastic one. A collection in aid of the League funds realised £45.
