SHOOTING FATALITY

(Bij Telegraph. — Press Association.) THAMES, Last Night. A sad fatality occurred at Parawai, near Thames, last night, by 'which Alexander Dmilop, the son of a wellknown resident, received wounds by accidentally shooting himself, which resulted in his death soon after. Dnnlop, who was 24 years of age, Mas in his bedroom cleaning a gun. It is presumed that after cleaning the, weapon he loaded it, and was in the act of putting it away when it caught a. box, thus causing the gun to he discharged. Dmilop received a. fearful wound in the abdomen. Medical assistance was called, hut" the unfortunate man was dead before the doctor arrived. An inquest, held later, returned a. verdict of accidental dentil.
