FATHER'S AWFUL ACT. MURDERS CHILD AND COMMITS SUICIDE. (Received Last Night, 9.25 o'clock.) ADELAIDE, February 10. A tragedy occurred at Prospect, a suburb of Adelaide. A coach-builder, named Frederick George Johnson, quarrelled with his wife regarding the transfer of some propeity. The wife obtained a ~,uminoiis tinder the Married "Women's Protection Act, and after it was served on Johnson lie returned home and attacked his wife and a two-year-old child with a razor. He almost sevorel the child's head, and wounded his wife, hut not serious. ly. He then cut his own throat. Johnson and the child are both dead.
