His Excellency the Governor was respectfully invited to honour the Master ton show with his presence. He had another engagement. Tho Prime Minister was.asked to patronise us. Ho has excused himself. It seems probable that we shall have to struggle through without the assistance of eighter the direct or indirect representatives of the Crown. The show will bo held, however, on February 18th-and I.9th, and tho train arrangements will be satisfactory. If the weather should prove propitious, the attendance will break all records, in spite of the fact that there has been a drought, a strike, and other hings.
