The Government has decided i:> establish a special branch of the Internal Affairs Department, dealing with local Mr G. I*. Newton, who is at present chief clerk of the Department of Internal Affairs, will take charge, of this work, with the designation of Assistant Under-Secre-tary. To Jill the vacancy, Mr P. J. Kel-leher, clerk in charge of the Government advertising branch, becomes chief clerk of the Department of In-: ternol Affairs. Mr A. R. Kennedy, accountant in the. Department of Internal Affairs, takes up the duties o? clerk in charge of the advertising •branch, in addition to his present duties.
