MASTERTON SHOW
PROVISION FOR LATE ENTRIES. The exceptionally dry .season, and the unrest occasioned by the cessation of work at some of the freezing works, lias militated somewhat against 'the entry of fat stock for the Master ton show. This notwithstanding, the live .stock classes are filling rapidly. In view of the special circumstance*., it has been decided to receive late entries up to and including Saturday, the Bth inst. This decision will doubtless be appreciated by intending exhibitors. It may be mentioned that there are several classes open only to exhibitors farming not'more than 580 acres of land, and tlie.se should appeal to small farmers of tho AYairarapa and su-rrounding districts. The transport facilities for tho show are perfect, and exhibitors will have the satisfaction of knowing that their stock is well-cared for from the time of its arriVal until its departure.
