The attendance _of buyers was large, and representative of the whole of the North Island, but bidding in most cases was hot brisk. 1 Compared with previous years there I was a falliingrOfF in. prices. A 1 line of .English Leicester bred by Mr, G. E. Rhodes, of Canterbury, realised 4gas to Sgins. Southdowns from Lincoln College fetched from ogns to 7| gns, Shropshire Downs to 3gns, and from 2£gns up to ,Bgn& . •;
