Fine crossbred and merino f> per cent advance, medium and coarse crossbred unchanged, market very iirni, as compared with closing rates at last, series." The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Urdu oed, have received the following cablegram from their London house: "London Wo-od Sales. —Sales closed strong with good competition ; 13,000 baJevS were sold, of which 43,000 were taken to the Continent, 0000 for America, and 5000 were held over. As compared with last sales' closing rates prices are higher by about par to 5 per cent for crossbred lambs, scoured merino super, and medium greasy crossbred, higher by about 5 per cent for merino inferior super, .scoured merino medium, fine greasy crossbred, higher by about 5 to 7.1 per cent for 'greasy merino .medium and lambs, 'prices are alwut the same for crossbred scoured, coarse greasy crossbred I and crossbred slips. We quote average current London values of the undermentioned descriptions of New Zealand wool: Good merino 1-1 id, medium merino 13s, inferior merino lid, fine crossbred Lis, medium crossbred 12Jd, coarse crossbred (40's) 11: id, coarse crossbred (30's) 10,' id."
