THE RAILWAY ROUTES.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —We in. the backblocks are eagerly scanning the Age, to see what movement is being made to "bring the claims of Pongaroa and the outlying districts to ;railway communication .before Ministers , when 'they visit these parts. We are all hoping that the; Minister of Public ,Works and the Prime Minister will travel through from Masterton to Poilgaroa, and , see for themselves. Masterton should be wide awake, and not allow the opportunity to slip of pressing home the claimy of the backblocks.—l am, etc., PONGAROA SETTLER. Pongaroa, January 29.
